PRESENTATIONS FOR CINEMA & LARGE DISPLAY
Short films for the big screen; when production values have to be the very best.

We made this behind-the-scenes 4K documentary for NT Live to accompany the live 4K theatrical streaming of The Beaux' Stratagem in cinemas across the world. The interviews and cutaways were shot over two days with a brief to capture how the National Theatre translated the stage onto a cinema screen as a ‘live’ performance.

Filmed over a week in Coniston, The Lake District, we produced the UK launch film Generations for Sony's flagship 4K-cinema camera, the F65. This beautifully shot behind-the-scenes film was projected in 4K at numerous international industry events, including multiple cinema screenings to mark the camera's launch.

A short documentary film about Oxford University's Bodleian Libraries' newly opened Weston Library. It was shot in 4K and mastered in HD for large display playback and focuses on the use of Samsung digital signage to engage with the public as a key part of the Weston’s ambition to be a ‘vision for the library of the future’.
LONGER FORM WORK
At around five minutes, these testimonial films are longer than might usually be requested, but through multiple authentic voices, they articulate the use of products and the reasons behind those product choices and sustain audience engagement.

The two interviewees in this film are multiple award-winning freelance documentary filmmakers who work in conflict zones. The film unveils the secrets of getting unforgettable results in unpredictable, ‘shoot and go’ situations and reveals why the filmmakers choose the handheld Sony PMW-200 camera.

Shot in one day, this case study focuses on the use of Samsung mobile phones by Surrey Police officers and incorporates some dramatic reconstruction, working with local police officers. Surrey Police was the first in the UK to innovate with mobile policing and remains one of the most forward-looking users of mobile phones.

We travelled across Europe for a week to produce this testimonial film for FilmLight's high-end colour grading consoles. It includes interviews with many of Europe's leading colour grading artists and benefits from a vibrant edit and beautiful product imagery. The film was shown on large displays at international technology shows.
VISUAL EFFECTS/GRAPHICS
We work with highly regarded vfx/graphics artists and compositors to link the shoot with energetic, eye-catching graphics and subtle vfx work to sprinkle a little fairy dust on the production.

Working with Red Route Marketing, Televisual Creative visualised a highly complex, ambitious storyboard to produce this 2m20s launch commercial for IT security company SecureData's new service. We combined a helicopter aerial shoot over London in 6K, green screen effects and complex multiple zooms in 4K to create the visually-striking end results. We also created the atmospheric sound design used throughout the film, and managed to do everything in the film significantly below the original budget.

We made this film to show the range and level of promotional activity aimed at business users by Samsung UK and Ireland during the launch of the popular Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone. The marketing team was keen to communicate the energy and impact of the launch activity within a crowded internal market. The budget only allowed for 10 hours total filming but we more than surpassed their expectations with a fast-paced cut, incorporating timelapse and the use of our own aerial archive.

We made this 4K film to demonstrate how Fujinon's new 4K outside broadcast television lenses enhanced BT Sports' coverage of the MotoGP at Silverstone. The caveats being that we could only show a limited amount of 4K clips from the broadcast, and the interviews were shot long after the event. Through clever use of split screens, we were able to showcase the lenses and reflect the energy of the finished production and behind-the-scene interviews all on screen at the same time.
INTERVIEW-LEAD CASE STUDIES
When the customer voice is so good and compelling it's best to let them do the talking for you... All these films were shot within very tight time constraints based on interviewee availability.

We flew to Istanbul to interview renowned multiple award-winning Turkish film director Nuri Bilge Ceylan on-set about his use of the new Sony F65 camera for his film Winter Sleep. We also designed the corporate look in this film, in line with Sony guidelines. The film has so far received more than 40,000 views on You Tube.

A small crew from Televisual Creative flew to Dublin to shoot at one of the world's leading hotels, The Merrion. The film focuses on the hotel's decision to install Samsung SMART displays in each of its guest bedrooms. We shot it in The Merrion's stunning penthouse guest suite, and made the hotel look suitably stunning.

A profile of the innovative Rockar car showroom, which recently opened at Westfield Stratford. The showroom sells Jaguar Landrover vehicles in a unique way, with large format displays and informative, friendly sales assistants using Samsung tablet computers to illustrate features to potential buyers.
SHOWREELS

This collection of stunning 4K work was commissioned by Fujinon to showcase the capabilities of its newly launched 4K cinema lenses. It includes both material we shot ourselves and an assortment of 4K production clips we collected on the company's behalf.

Televisual Creative researched, collected and edited together this showreel of highly regarded feature films, shot with Sony's top-of-the-range cinematography cameras. We also produced a broadcast showreel and an advertising showreel as part of the same project.

This brought together the key messages from numerous display-related case studies we've made for Samsung, creating a fast moving showreel of Samsung's Smart Signage screens being used in numerous different environments and in different marketing verticals.
PASSION PROJECTS FOR DEMONSTRATION
We're regularly commissioned to shoot demonstration material for the latest high-end cinema cameras and lenses, which has given us an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate the beauty of the natural and urban world in gorgeously detailed 4K and 4K HDR.

We've made a series of short films to showcase the beautiful 4K and 6K aerial footage we've shot above London. The footage is available to license and has been used in a wide assortment of Hollywood feature films, commercials and corporate productions.

One of a series of 4K HDR short films we shot of Hever Castle, Kent, where we were able to push the acquisition possibilities with the Panasonic Varicam 35 and Fujinon HK lenses. The production was mastered in HDR, as well as the conventional SDR master, as uploaded here.

We created this short film of various eye-catching time-lapse shots in different locations around London, all captured in 4K UHD. The film was delivered as both a standard dynamic range version (as seen here) and a truly visually stunning HDR version.
